Abstract

For the purpose of determining the residues of some recently registered pesticides to Vietnam agricultural products, a quick and precise approach based on a modification of QuEChERS extraction and liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) has been studied. By using the LC-MS/MS method, carbamate pesticide residues were identified and measured on a variety of sample matrices. The approach performed well in the concentration ranges between 0.1 and 200 ppb . All the insecticides used in the testing had LOQ values that less than 10 ppb and the repeatability less than 20% RSD. For a variety of agricultural goods, including cabbage, truffle, rice, grape, the approach has been successfully used.
